Repurposed Dress

So we've been doing some spring cleaning and simplification at the Bergman house. I love getting rid of stuff!! So this dress that I made for Olive is made from one of the bridesmaid dresses that my Mom made for her own wedding. This dress has been in a closet for many years, and now it has been turned into a cute little dress for Olive to remember her Grandma by. The upper fabric is the old dress fabric, the bottom is contrasting fabric I picked out to match.

Sarah, Lucy will be getting a matching dress :)

Fun Weekend!

We had such a fun and busy weekend that we hardly took any pictures!! Sorry! Olive had so much fun playing with all of her visitors. Grandma and Grandpa Hermann, Paige and Danny, Luke, Sarah and Lucy too! Paige and Danny, "The Sudden Lovelys", were in La Crosse to end their 8 week tour. They had a fantastic show on Sunday at The Root Note. Olive found her rhythm and danced and clapped to their beautiful music until the very end when she finally fell asleep (for a minute or two!) Thanks Paige and Danny! Hope you are resting up and enjoying time with Charlie :)

Thanks to all of our family for visiting this weekend. It was so much fun, and I'm glad you all got to see Olive in the fun stage she is in right now.

Olive is 9 months old and had another great check up! Her stats are: 22 lbs; 26.9 inches. She has mastered crawling and is pulling up on EVERYTHING, walking around things and occasionally letting go to stand alone for a few seconds before sitting down :) She is such a joy; a very happy and smiley baby. I can't believe she is nearing the 1 year mark already.
