Olive & Great Grandmother!

Saturday was our first long road trip with Olive! We ventured to Owatonna so we could surprise Grandma with a visit from Olive. It was a very special time. Olive loves Grandma and thought she was SO funny! Thanks to Julie and Grady for having us over and bringing back "family night"! Olive also got to meet Baby J... he wasn't quite sure about this new baby that Great Grandma was holding! Thanks all, we are happy that you live closer, and we love your new spot in the world!

So Strong!

Olive has a new trick! She is getting really good at holding her head up, so I propped her up on the boppy pillow. She spent a long time showing off, looking from side to side and exploring her surroundings. Pretty fun! She's growing so fast!

Our Veggie Garden

Our veggie garden did pretty well this year... we can't believe how tall the green pepper plants and tomato plants grew!

Olive is sporting Uncle Luke's Vikings outfit circa 1979! It fits great and should get her through her first Vikings season!

Raspberry Picking!

This weekend we traveled to Viroqua to visit the farm that provides us with wonderful produce each week for our farm share. We went out to pick our own raspberries and check out the farm- it was a great time... and we picked two pounds of delicious raspberries! Ridgeland Harvest is the CSA farm name and there website is http://www.ridgelandharvest.com/ Check it out- their story is pretty neat.

Olive's 2 month stats!

Olive is 2 months old already! She weighs in at 12 lbs 3 oz (which is the 80th percentile) and length is 22.1 inches (25th percentile). Little chunky monkey! The doctor said she is growing and developing perfectly! Way to go Olive!

Someone from Minneapolis & Mantorville loves me!

Thank you Aunt Joni and Paige for coming to visit us! It was great to spend time with you both! I loved looking through Grandpa's book from the war (last picture). Come again soon!!

Daddy's Home!!

Chris made it home safely on Thursday evening after a week in China! We missed him very much and we are glad he's home safe and sound!

Olive's Room

Olive's room is complete! Finally organized and decorated! Thank you Aunt Patty for all of your help! (Crafty Patty spray painted for the first time! Even in the sweltering heat, and in between rain showers! Quite a feat!) Everything turned out so cute. Thanks to Auntie Sarah for the super useful closet organizers! We have a little old house with teeny, tiny closets- we can use all the help we can get! I'm so glad this is done- couldn't have done it with out you, Pat!

Auntie Sarah & Lucy come to La Crosse!!

I meant to post these last week, but wanted to play around with some of the images first. We had so much fun and can't wait to see them again soon! Lucy is a blast and her and Olive will be great friends!

Fun Weekend

Uncle Grady and Aunt Julie rode the Harley to La Crosse to meet little O. It was so nice to see them and I'm so excited they live closer to us now!! Patty and I are getting Olive's room organized and decorated... getting it ready for her to move in there in a couple weeks. She took her first nap in her crib while we were working!

Aunt Patty came back to Wisconsin to visit us while Chris is in China for the week! We missed her and we are glad she is back!
